Taking Time

Fall is here. Our calendars are full of activities related to school, work, fall yard clean-up and more. As the seasons change, make a commitment to take some time for quiet reflection. Take a walk and enjoy the cool crisp fall air, or simply gaze at the color of nature around you.

If you're like me, taking time to relax is easy to say, and harder to do. I really need to be purposeful about planning and scheduling time for rest, otherwise the details of the day simply take over! My yoga practice becomes my time to slow down, breathe deeply, and get quiet.

If you are craving some time to relax and re-focus, take a look at the previous posting about an upcoming day-long wellness retreat that I will be co-leading called Full Powered Living. We are holding the retreat at a beautiful retreat center near Hastings. We'll have box lunches provided by Panera, and a full day of activities and reflection time for you consider new ways to be fully present and making the most of each day.

Enjoy the beauty of the season!
