Springtime!

Wow! What a fabulous first weekend of May in MN!!! The weather feels even sweeter and more miraculous when I realize that we had our last snow of the season last year (3 inches!) during the first week of May.

I love sunshine and warm weather and was lucky enough to have the time for a walk in the woods this morning. On this walk, I observed ferns about to unfurl, birds singing, leaves emerging, grass growing, and little spots of unexpected color and flowers along the way. Best of all.....no mosquitos yet! Mother nature is absolutely inspiring.

I hope that each of you find extra time to get outside this month. Take a walk outside on your lunch break or consider doing some yoga postures in the great outdoors. Spring is here....and summer is fast approaching. If you plan to continue or want to get started with a yoga practice, May/June Yoga Moodra sessions are starting this week and next. I'm also in the early stages of planning a free outdoor summer yoga event/class this year....stay tuned! In the meantime, use the month of May to take a look around....soak in some beauty and feel a sense of wonder as you observe the new energy nature is putting forth. Breathe deep. Stay present. Feel grateful.
